This pattern is called "Asanoha-pattern" which has long history began in Heian period(794).
"Asanoha-pattern" is said that it will keep you from bad things.
The tying way of string tied up around the Tsurikawa is called "Awaji musubi"
The “Kyoto Edition” is a Japanese handmade Tsurikawa featuring a strap made of genuine Japanese textiles.
The strap opens and closes using a snap button and doesn’t require any tool to be installed.
